Over the weekend, the Castle View Girls Varsity & JV teams competed at the Eaglecrest Girls Invitational! These brackets were built differently than most tournaments, in order to maximize mat time. Check out their stats from this 2-day tournament with a lot of tough competition! On Saturday, some of our Varsity Boys competed at a tournament hosted by Lewis Palmer HS. We only had 6 boys attend, as the rest of our boys team is either sick or injured, and recovering for the big NCCT tourney next weekend. On Saturday, Castle View Varsity Boys & Varsity Girls competed at the Arapahoe Invitational tournament. Our boys team had 7 of 11 wrestlers place , and our girls team had 8 of 15 wrestlers place ! A special shout out to our two 1st place winners, Zaret & Mimi!! Castle View held our first home dual of the season on Thursday! Varsity Girls, Varsity Boys, & JV all wrestled against Denver South HS. The Varsity Boys team had redemption - we lost to Denver South last year, but this year we beat them 48-35! Our Varsity Girls are off to a strong start with their first win in the books as well! Our JV team did a great job showing up and learning the ropes for their first dual - a great season is on the horizon guys, keep working & grinding!
