Our Varsity Boys & Girls teams traveled to Greeley, CO last weekend for some high-level competition & hard fought matches! Greeley has large brackets & medals for 1st-8th place. Read on to see how everyone did!

Shoutout to 3 of our CV Girls for placing, Zaret took home 1st place winning her whole bracket earning a gold medal & a custom 1 of its kind sweatshirt (so cool!), Mimi took home 4th place, and Alizah took home 5th place!!

A big shoutout to one of our CV Boys, Jacob for placing 6th in a stacked bracket!

This is a tough, state-level competition tournament, and all of our wrestlers showed up & wrestled hard. It was so fun running from mat to mat and cheering you all on. No matter how you did this weekend, I hope you are proud of yourselves & keep grinding - these are exactly the type of matches we need to see to prepare for League, Regionals, and States! **On Friday, Senior Mimi Mendoza hit her 100 career wins! Between middle school, freestyle, and folkstyle, our girl has hit this big milestone & it was so exciting having her 100th win be at such a large tournament! Congratulations, Mimi!

115 - Shaelynn Rozell went 2-2, DNP with 1 tech fall.

120 - Liliana Quintana went 2-2, DNP with 2 pins.

120 - Sophia Willoughby went 1-2, DNP with 1 pin.

125 - Taylor Mantia went 1-2, DNP with 1 pin.

130 - Zaret Silva Lopez went 5-0, taking home 1st place with 2 pins!!

135 - BellaRay Fiske went 2-2, DNP with 1 pin.

145 - Alizah Piasecki went 6-2, taking home 5th place with 5 pins!

155 - Annalie Carlson went 2-2, DNP with 2 pins.

170 - Audrey Hernandez went 3-2, DNP with 2 pins.
