RECAP: 4/12/25 COUSAW Eaglecrest

Yesterday, the Thundercats went to the first of 2 qualifiers in Colorado. This one was just a qualifier for the boys, as the girls will have their qualifier at States (which will also be the 2nd qualifier opportunity for the boys). The top 2 from each bracket for Freestyle & Greco get their ticket stamped for FARGO this summer. It was another long, 12+ hour day but we had 2 boys qualify, and some really great matches!

Freestyle

8U - Saul Silva - 2nd place going 1-1, earning 13 team points.

16U 100 - Kash Lawson - 6th place going 1-2, earning 7 team points.

16U 126 - Jacob Ness - 3rd place going 3-1 with 2 pins & 1 tech fall, earning 31 team points.

16U 138 - Caleb Crabtree - 4th place going 3-2 with 3 tech falls, earning 31 team points.

USA Junior 113 - Karter Lawson - 2nd place going 2-1 with 1 pin & 1 tech fall, earning 21 team points (Qualified for FARGO!)

3rd-5th grade - Maddy Lawson - 4th place going 1-1, earning 10 team points.

HS Girls - Shaelynn Rozell - 4th place going 0-3.

HS Girls - Mack Rozell - 2nd place going 2-1 with 1 pin, earning 22 team points.

HS Girls - Alizah Piasecki - 4th place going 1-3 with 1 pin, earning 9 team points.

HS Girls - BellaRay Fiske - 3rd place going 2-2 with 2 tech falls, earning 15 team points.

HS Girls - Zaret Silva-Lopez - 1st place going 4-0 with 3 tech falls & 2 pins, earning 31 team points.
